Visit Applegarth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Applegarth actively promotes the welfare of the patient and ensures that relatives, friends and associates are free to visit anytime between 9am and 11pm and at other times by arrangement. Private facilities will always be made available if needed for visits by e.g. relatives, professional and/or spiritual advisors.

Whilst it is our policy to encourage visiting, ultimately our patients decide who visits and who does not.

Patients are encouraged to bring along family friends on trips and visits outside the home. Also, Patients are welcome to invite family and friends to join them for a meal.

Before I came to Applegarth I used to live with my sister but she couldn’t provide me with level of care I required. I soon moved to a home in the north east of England, which didn’t turn out to be the right move for me so I moved to Applegarth on the 8th of September 2005 and I love it here.

Do you need care advice?

Our team is led by the Clinical Nurse Manager who is supported by our Senior Management team which includes clinical and non clinical members. Clinical and personal development are key staff priorities in our organization.

We employ experienced nursing staff who have been specifically trained to support people with complex health conditions and neurological injuries or conditions. Our Staff Development Manager oversees all training provided in order to maintain the high quality of skill required to manage the complex needs of our patients.
