Neurological Service

We have a 12 bed roomed unit providing care to patients with neurological injuries or conditions.

We offer: crisis, day, short or continuing care to patients with Acquired Brain Injury, Neurological Injury / condition including Spinal Injury, High Dependency Care Needs, Minimally Aware State, Continuing Care Needs and Behaviour problems. We also offer end stage care for complex neurological conditions.

In addition we are able to offer such bespoke rehabilitation services, as your medical advisers recommend. These services would be financed either by the local authority, NHS or private finance over and above the standard fees

Our facilities are state of the art with all bedrooms being ensuite and all but 2 bedrooms having a secure balcony. Ourstaff are well trained, skilled and professional.

The service specializes in meeting the needs of adults with complex neurological conditions or injuries who have low, medium or high nursing dependency needs. Care is provided based on an individually tailored support package prepared whenever possible with the patient and /or with those close to him if he so wishes. The support package will recognizes the person as an individual with unique needs and choices 

Do you need care advice?

Our team is led by the Clinical Nurse Manager who is supported by our Senior Management team which includes clinical and non clinical members. Clinical and personal development are key staff priorities in our organization.

We employ experienced nursing staff who have been specifically trained to support people with complex health conditions and neurological injuries or conditions. Our Staff Development Manager oversees all training provided in order to maintain the high quality of skill required to manage the complex needs of our patients.
