Our Team

The dedicated Nursing Team has specialist skills in caring for patients with complex needs including those with neurological injury or illness. Our nurses undergo continuing professional development as well as training with other health professionals to ensure that they have the skills and expertise to enable them to care for people with complex health problems.

Many of our nurses have extended their role as a Registered Nurse to enable them to carry out such procedures as Phlebotomy and Tracheostomy care. Our team includes registered nurses, both general and learning disabilities, which ensures that our patients are able to develop to their full potential.

We have a Lifestyle Co-ordinator Team to ensure that all patients can carry out their hobbies and become involved in activities within the home.

At Applegarth we offer 24 hour nurse led care. Our patients are under the direct supervision of the RN team who are trained to the highest level to plan, evaluate and deliver individualised care. All of our staff are caring, sensitive and compassionate.
